Morro Rock is alway beautiful to see. At the end of a storm I planned to be set up just before sunrise. As it was just becoming light you could see the glow of the sun on the eastern facing slopes of the rock with the remaining surface still in the shadows. The sky took on a wonderful orange/pink hue which colored the rock and sand. The Driftwood and sand dominate the foreground, giving a sense of a serene, deserted beach which is unusual in Morro Bay. This photo was taken on the same morning as "Storm Reconstruction", Photo #1. What a difference 38 minutes makes! A metal print of this photo was on display at the Art Center, Morro Bay. I am pleased to say that it sold!
